SODAC is also implementing a water project with support from The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in order to improve the living standards of children, youth and women in Traditional Authority (TA) Makata in Blantyre District in Malawi. These projects aim at improving the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), enhancing youth and women economic empowerment (through small scale irrigation farming, tailoring, agribusiness and production of small livestock), and environmental management and climate change mitigation activities (fruits and agroforestry tree seedlings establishment and climate smart agriculture).
