SODAC’s Projects Manager, Rabecca Simbeye, who is a professional and registered nurse, conducts regular child assessments on their health, nutritional and educational needs. In this picture, she is having an interactive meeting with Rovaness Zeka, the Village Head for Simbi 1 Village. It was during this meeting when SODAC learnt that there are over 2,250 children aged between 2 to 5 years in Simbi 1 Village who have no access to ECD education. The chief expressed the urgent need for an ECD centre in her village.
